I WAS GIVEN A COPY OF A MAME 32 V86, WHICH WHEN LOADED ALLOWS YOU TO PLAY VIRTUALLY ANY ARCADE GAME, ATARI ETC.

MY PROBLEM IS MY COMPUTER IS VERY FAST AND I WONDERED IF THERE WAS A SECRET WAY TO SLOW IT DOWN TO PLAY THESE?

FORGOT TO ADD: I AM ON A DELL PIV 2.8GB, 1GB MEMORY ... WINDOWS XP.

CURIOSITY KILLED THE CAT, LOOK FORWARD AS ALWAYS TO A REPLY.

You would want to use the throttle option:

-[no]throttle

Configures the default thottling setting. When throttling is on, MAME
attempts to keep the game running at the game's intended speed. When
throttling is off, MAME runs the game as fast as it can. The default is
ON (-throttle).
