I've been trying to post a new thread in the Malware Removal logs, complete with the DDS results and the proper attachments. Every time I try, however, I'm given an error page that says "The Connection to the Server was Reset". This happens across multiple browsers and reboots, even in Safe Mode. I am still able to browse other pages, even on the same forums I'm trying to post to. Is there something about my computer that I need to change to make this work?

Can you post in that log via another computer?

That was my next stop, but I don't have easy access to outside computers. If there was a way to set this computer to do it things would be much easier. Strangely enough, the same computer was able to post this thread and another test thread earlier. Could it be the size of the thread I'm trying to post that's messing things up?

I really appreciate your help.

Are you trying to attach them via the attachment process or are you trying to copy and paste?

I'm trying to attach via the uploady thing at the bottom. The "browse" and "attach this file" thing.

Can you start a topic there and post the DDS log here. I can merge them together.

It won't let me post the full topic even without the attachments. I was able to post the shorter intro, but I can't edit in the logs or the attachments. It was the length of the post that was killing me, what the hell?

It turns out it was the computer itself that was the problem. I re-started the thread properly on an outside computer.

Now that your log is properly posted, you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a Malware Removal Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show it the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the Malware Removal Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the Malware Removal Team members are very busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the Malware Removal Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another MRL Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic.
