Hi there. I'm sure this topic has been posted before but I have yet to find a solution. I have been dealing w/ this nasty bugger for the past week and after doing countless things to fix it and following countless forum members'(not this one yet) advice, my PC is still un-usable. My computer constantly redirects every link I click to google.

Windows Vista Ultimate SP2-

Things I have done:

1. Edited the host file
2. Ran TDSSKiller, AVG, MBAM, and a few other malware programs. None of them saw the infection.
3. Reset Router to Factory Settings.
4. Checked the Internet options for proxy's, and TCP/IP setting to make sure they are automatically detected.
5. Flushed the DNS.

I'm sure there's a few other things I've tried that I can't recall ATM.
Anyway, if ANYONE can help me w/ this I would owe you an eternity of gratitude. This thing is killing me and I can't resume my business w/o my computer.
Thank You!

Sorry. I seemed to have posted in the wrong forum. Mod has moved it so I was hoping one of the resident experts here at BC could help me out. A New Member gave me a tip that worked for him which included a link. No offense to this person but clicking random links is not something I want to do right now.

This is an amazing site and I've learned quite a bit just from reading the various articles. But I'm still having major problems w/ this virus. I realize you guys get overwhelmed w/ questions so I'm trying to be patient and have been reading other posts and solutions about the same problem. So far I have not resolved it.

Anyway, ANY HELP would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks :)

With the information you have provided I believe you will need help from the malware removal team. I would like you to start a new thread and post a DDS log HERE and include a link to this thread. Please make sure that you read the information about getting started before you start your thread.

It would be helpful if you post a note here once you have completed the steps in the guide and have started your topic in malware removal. Good luck and be patient. Help is on the way!

Hello,

Now that you have posted a log here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic407029.html you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by a MRT Team member, nor should you ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show in the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the MRT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the MRT Team members are EXTREMELY busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the MRT Team. Please do not bump your topic. Do not worry about being forgotten; we have mechanisms in place to ensure that you are not overlooked.

It may take several days to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible. I advise checking your topic once a day for responses as the e-mail notification system is unreliable.

To avoid confusion, I am closing this topic. Good luck with your log.
