Hello,

Reading around web and many sites recommended downloading/running HijackThis. Did so 2 days ago. Scan showed 48 entries though all greek to me, lol. This site also came recommended for such. Decipering them that is.

Followed post "Preparation Guide For Use Before Using Malware Removal Tools and Requesting Help". Was hoping the logs done could be looked at to see if all is ok.

Computer runs fine, scans with Norton NIS 2011, Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware and Ad-Aware always come up clean, but being a novice I figured maybe something sneaked in.

The only part I guess I didn't need to do was the GMER scan. Didn't realize I had 64-bit. Because Internet Explorer has the 32-bit browser I thought I needed it (GMER).

Thanks
Fred

If your computer is running fine, leave it alone.

Sounds good to Me.

The main reason I was a little concerned was due to 18 of 22 file missing entries in 023 Services. Went googling for the files etc., I found one HJT log at "Cybertechhelp" which showed almost exactly what mine did. Poster was told nothing bad there.

Thanks for the reply.

If you're running 64-bit Windows, HJT is not compatible with it. That's the reason.
