I've tried to remove windows xp recovery and cannot unistall it. I followed the steps from this page http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-windows-xp-recovery.

When I run TDSSKiller after RKill it doesnt detect the windows xp recovery virus. I tried to run malwarebytes after running TDSSKiller and malwarebytes doesnt run either.

Are there other methods I should try to remove windows xp recovery

I see no mention of XP Recovery on that link...in any case, BC XP Recovery Removal .

Note that the link provides instructions on what to do and where to do it...if you still have problems after using the guide.

Sorry. I posted the wrong link. I did follow the instructions. When I run TDSSKiller after RKill it doesnt detect any virus. I tried to run malwarebytes after running TDSSKiller and malwarebytes doesnt run either. The xp recovery is still on the computer yet TDSSKiller doesnt see it.
