When opening Explorer initially, the address bar loads with http://www.yahoo.com but I have to hit the 'go' button for the page to load. This appears to be happening elsewhere (examples include some links in BleepingComputer.com where the browser page loads but the address bar is actually empty). I am guessing that in my attempts to stop malware attacks, I've activated a control that I didn't intend to.

In what I believe to be a related topic, my kids have complained that they get knocked out of Worlds of Warcraft fairly regularly and it is a recent occurrence.

I use Ad-aware, Spybot, Spyblaster (just added based on this site's recommendation) and Winpatrol. Norton is my anti-virus. If one is the cause, Winpatrol is most likely given the timing but I can't be sure.

Any help is appreciated.
