I have had to stop using a computer and use a spare because of this problem. An svchost starts using cpu and increases until it renders the computer useless because it doesn't leave any cpu performance available. I just discovered it happens when the computer is put on line. If the computer is sitting off line it is fine for hours. Within seconds of being put on line, that particular svchost starts and keeps going using an increasing amount of CPU and memory. I have run every antivirus/anti-malware/spybot S&D/ Adware/ including Combfix to no avail. If someone has a suggestion I'm listening. WSS
