CAN'T CONNECT TO THE INTERNET

I can't create a connection with a compaq presario vista home premium...
am using bayantel dsl with a modem and through dlink switch coz we have 7 pc's that running ok with it but not with presario netbook.
when am trying to create a connection the wizard says it cannot create connection.
and i cant see the other computers on the network
last use of the netbook with a connection was june 20 after i remove the WINDOWS RESTORE MALWARE with Antimalware bytes... since then i havent use it until yesterday and i found out that i cant connect even with the safe mode with networking.

pls help me figure this out...

If you click on your start menu then right click on Computer and click manage > on the left hand pane select Device Manager.

Can you please check to make sure you either have Wireless or Ethernet drivers installed on the laptop??
