I am getting very upset over my problem.. i will try to give as much info as i can.. (sorry if wrong forum)

So, i installed a few things today or yesterday.. been up all night trying to fix my computer google'n and trying everything! Nothing has worked.

I tried going into system repair and restore, i even tried combofix scanned for viruses!

I am sure i know what caused it sense it happened right after i did this and restarted. This thing i am talking about is some theme patcher for windows 7.. i was going to put on a new theme and it must of screwed my laptop up..

So when i log in normally this is what happens:

I get to the Please Wait.. screen, the one right before the Welcome screen.. and it sits there for maybe less then 30 sec then the screen goes black for maybe 3-8 seconds or so, then the please wait comes back as in a cycle thing.. like if it is restarting itself over and over... the only way i can get on is in safe mode, i am on safe mode with networking right now to get help.

Please help me ASP

I am familiar with computers well, no expert tho and this is having me go crazy!

Some things about my laptop:

Operating System
MS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1

And this is strange i just seen this when using Speccy
"
CPU
Cannot initialise SPC dll
RAM
Cannot initialise SPC dll
Motherboard
Cannot initialise SPC dll
Graphics
Cannot initialise SPC dll
Hard Drives
Cannot initialise SPC dll
"
Strange...

I scanned with Hitman Pro, Malwarebytes, and Avira..

Hope that is enough info..

I suggest using system restore to go back to before you messed up the system.

Sorry for late reply,

I got my PC working again, but..

My issue is worse then imagined.

I am stuck and have no way out of restoring my computer back to factory defualts. I tried having Acer help me but they want 100$ just for that! I do not have that kind of money..

My windows recovery concol gives me this error:

STATUS: 0x000000f

Boot selection failed because required device is inaccessible.

My Alt + F10 (eRecovery for my Acer Aspire One) was deleted when installing windows 7.

And to top it! My computer has no disc reader, the OS came installed on my system.

I need bad help and Acer will not even switch my PC back to defaults because i am out of warranty :(

Can anyone help? I have no other options right now..

I just remembered combofix, should i download combofix and try to see if it fixes my computer?

It's pretty important to know what was installed and what is in your start up to understand what's changed since the other day.

UPDATE:

I just downloaded Emsisoft antimalware to try it, and i did a smart scan to double check, and it is only 0& done and found over 50 infections!

So i may have to make a topic in malware removal to make sure i get my computer 100% clean.

Mbam does not seem to pick these up..

Being that you've had trouble keeping AV on, the nature of your problem may actually be malware related. Since I'm new to these forums and it looks like there is a malware removal forum, this thread should probably be moved there and a hijackthis log posted. If you're fairly certain it's only related to an OS error you can type the string in the command line,

wmic /output: c:\startup.html startup get caption, command, description, user /format:"hform.xsl"

After the log generates, navigate to c:\startup.html and open it with your browser. Just copy and paste everything into the post. That way we can see your startup items and tell you what you need to disable.

Have you already uninstalled the applications which caused the problem?

I'm requesting that this thread is moved to the correct forum. Please wait for a malware specialist to respond.

The thing is i had to roll back with RollBack RX. So, any files were restored, i had to do this because of my issues. I think it is both a malware issue and OS issue. When i entered

wmic /output: c:\startup.html startup get caption, command, description, user /format:"hform.xsl"

I got this error: Invalid XSL format (or) file name.

The wmic command can be copied and pasted into the command line, typing can get errors and all that. I just did it on my machine to make sure I typed it correctly.

Strange, I would opt for a hijackthis log at this point.
