Web browser was redirecting, was getting the typical fake virus scanner alerts, desktop has been wiped clean(files are missing from the desktop, which seem to have disappeared, and it has been changed to a light blue background)

OK I can run HJT, but it won't let me get a logfile. It says that it can't find the logfile folder in program files, then it asks me if I want to make a new one. I click OK and it brings up a blank .txt file. Lame.

Maybe there's another scanner I can use? Help
