"Scoup" and other redirects of XP Pro browsers

The operating system and programs (ie. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, MS word) start and run OK.
Internet Explorer (Ver 8) and Firefox start / run OK; however when selecting any result from
any search of the search engines (Google, Bing, etc) we get directed to an alternate search
engine or ad ~:( Any help solving this will be appreciated. Spybot and Symantec Corporate
antivirus don't help.
