I made a previous post located here and I was advised to upgrade to Bulldozer, so that's what I'm going to do after I save up even more money because I'm about to use $1,700 for my dental fees. Anyways, I just wanted to know around what time frame the new processors are going to be released? I heard that it was going to be released this month and now I'm hearing that it's going to be released sometime in Sept/Nov. Which is it?

It should be at the very end of July or sometime in August. Depending on how the silicon turned out, it could even be pushed as far as September. But it will be out soon.

An AMD slide has had the motherboards scheduled for release at about 30 days after the product was unveiled, that was May and the boards are just now out. The CPU should be 60 days or so after that. I'm wanting the FX-8130P.

I want that one as well (well one of the octa core variations)... I can't wait to see my encodes finish faster than on this tri-core that I have at the moment!
I'm thinking about just switching out my motherboard and cpu, and possibly the PSU but I'm trying not to spend too much money here...
And thanks for the info! I really can't wait to see the benchmarks on the zambezi cpus! I know that there's a high chance that they won't beat sandybridge, but as long as they give more bang for your buck, I'm good...

They are positioned to go up against the i7-2600k, so if that is about where you're are budgeted, you should be good.

We shall see indeed...
I hope that they can take on the i7-2600k that way Intel and AMD can keep trying to best each other giving use newer and better processors in the future!
