WE just got a new desktop and we put in the cd for our LExmark x1155 All in one printer to install it, and it will not install. We click install and it does nothing. Is there anything I can do?

Start HERE on the Lexmark website.

Download the driver software from Lexmark then see if it will install for you.

I went to the site and pulled up our printer and it said there are no recommended downloads for this product.. Is there somewhere else I can try.

I just pulled up the same model printer on the site and they recommend three Windows downloads for me that all link to the original CD installation. The text should say: Complete drivers and software for setting up, configuring, and using your device with Windows 32-bit (or 64-bit).

Before I suggested the Lexmark website, I looked to see if the drivers for your model were available for download.

They were. However, today it is telling me no product found for that model number.

Edit to add: Click the link in whoabuddy's post.

When the page opens, click Filter. Recommended downloads will appear.

Maybe one of them will work with your Win7 system.

Hi,

Just to add, they might be updating their website.
There is also a link found on whoabuddy's post stating for you to use a vista driver for windows 7. Windows 7 Information

Note: If your installing the printer with a usb cable, do not plugin the usb cable till the Lexmark's driver software tells you so.
