Hello! I have an HP Pavilion with Windows XP. The sound stopped working some time ago and has become a nuisance... The computer will not play system sounds or dvd/cd/mp3 etc. (The files play, but not the sound.) I have done a bit of troubleshooting on the issue and have tried to install the drivers for Realtek audio. This did not help. When I go to the sound/audio part of the control panel, it says that I have "No Audio Device."

What does this mean and is there a way to resolve this issue?

Oh, and yes, my speakers are plugged into the correct port. :thumbup2:

Thank you,
