I posted this problem 2 days ago but had to repost because the problem is slightly different now.

A few days ago, I had a Google redirect problem. Shortly before that, this message kept asking me if I would allow msiexec.exe to run. I closed the window several times, but it just popped back again. I finally looked up the filename and was informed that this was an essential application (not sure what it's called) for Windows, so I allowed it to run. I'm pretty sure that's about when my redirect problems started. I did a restore, and the redirect problem went away.

Now, I'm getting that request to run msiexec.exe again...I didn't ok it this time, and I still don't have the redirect problem. But the "run msiexec" message is still present and I can't get it to disappear. I tried ending it in task manager, but it pops back out again. how do I get this to stop?

I've run the DDS.scr, but when I save the textfile on my desktop, I don't see it. The odd thing is, when I ran it again and tried to save the files, a message popped up asking me if I wanted to overwrite the original file (which i still don't see on my desktop). I've copy/pasted the contents of these file onto another notepad file on my destktop under a different names. In other words, I have a dds and attach file ready. Please help!

I got frustrated and deleted the problem account, files and all. Not too many important files in it anyway. Thanks either way. :^)
