I just got a mini notebook with windows 7 starter on it and I can not do much with just starter. I was wondering how do I switch Starter with Professional without the CD because it doesn't have a CD-ROM drive. Help.

Have you verified that your netbook meets the hardware requirements for Win 7 Professional? If so look into Windows anytime upgrade. I'm not positive you can go from starter to Pro. But I know you can from Win 7 home to Pro or Ultimate.

You pay for the upgrade and are emailed a key that unlocks the features. Thats how it works. No installation required.
