My husband is having a problem with his macbook. I believe its OS is Snow Leopard.

It has been slow for a while, with programs crashing more frequently than usual. Today it started really having trouble, losing memory for no reason.

Is this some kind of virus?

What good antivirus software is available to download for free for Macs?

He already tried the Rogue remover tool I found on here, and it didn't do anything.

Please help; I am clueless when it comes to viruses on Macs! We usually only have viruses on our PCs.

iAntivirus seems to be the favorite free Mac OS X antivirus application.
