Once you get it to start, please go into the Event Viewer (Start...Control Panel...Administrative Tools...Event Viewer).

When the window opens up, please left click once on the word "System" in the left hand pane. Then, check for errors in the right hand pane. Right click on one that occurred around the time of the last restart and select "Properties". There should be a message there. Please copy it down and post it here. The numbers, etc in it will help us to diagnose the problem.

In the meantime, how did you get the system from school to your home? Was it bounced around in a car? Something might have "jiggled" loose - and it may just need tightening up.

Be careful if you open the case. Make sure that the system is unplugged from the wall, and that you ground yourself before going inside the case.
