Hi,
I seem to have contracted the Google redirect virus - can you please help?

I have run defogger and DDS - DDS does not seem to produce anything however (does not go to the dos screen as illustrated in the sticky). I did switch off all spyware and virus protection programs so I don't know what could be blocking it.

When clicking on search returns I was being redirected. I installed a trial of MalWareBytes which is now blocking these redirect, though I can still see it trying to redirect in the address bar and MWB notifications keep coming up telling me that it has blocked. I do get to the correct page at present but the MWB trial will soon run out and performance seems to be getting worse.

I am running windows 7, 64 bit using Firefox (Minefield nightly).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes its the same computer - I hadn't seen any responses to the previous thread so I thought I'd try again.

Note that the current average wait time is 7 days.

To avoid confusion I will close this topic.
