I got some strange infection last week that looked like a Microsoft process. It started doing the "Alert, you have a virus" type of thing. I have McAfee on this machine and I ran that which seemed to get rid of the initial infection, but ever since then Google has been redirecting to strange pages which is making me crazy. I ran malaware bytes and it removed about 6 infections, but none of those cleared up the problem. A friend pointed me in this direction. Thanks for any help!
