I'm considering purchasing AVG Internet Security 2011.

AVG sells a 1 year subscription for $54.99 but I can get a 2 year subscription from Amazon.com for $39.99.

Is there any benefit to buying directly from AVG directly and paying more for a 1 year subscription?

I know AVG authorizes resellers to sell there product but it just seems strange that its offered so much cheaper from Amazon for a for a longer subscription. My guess is I wouldn't have their technical support if I bought it from a third party.

I appreciate any assistance,

Thanks Broni, I think I'm going to go for the paid version of Avast Internet Security.

Have a good evening.
