I recently reinstalled my OS. When I go to performance and maintenance, and I go to the drop down box for "when I close my lid of my portable computer," my only option is do nothing. I am using XP SP3. Any thoughts?

Thanks

What is the make/model of the system?

Did you reinstall all the drivers as well?
Chipset (if necessary) video, sound, modem, network, wireless?
In the beginning there was the command line.

I have a HP Dv4230. I reinstalled the majority of the drivers that HP recommended on their website. What driver would be associated with this problem?
