I just bought a i7 980x pc off of Craiglist ($500). I love this thing except the 5 fans are killing me. I have sensitive ears. I think they are all 120mm. What recommendations do you have on the quietest case fans I can buy. The CPU fan is quiet. It is the stock intel fan and heat sink. Thanks

How much air flow do you need?

Either get different fans that spin slower as killerx525 suggested, or get a fan controller to slow down what you have until you can stand it. Usually it is a trade off between CFM and lower RPM.

Rethink your cooling setup. Are you really running a 980X with a stock Intel cooler? Do you need all 5 fans in your system? Are the fans installed correctly (flow direction)? I am currently making due with 2 120mm fans in my system. It had 5 at one time and it made only 2C difference when all was said and done.
