First off, thanks for creating this resourceful website where individuals like me can turn to for help. That said, I'm frustrated with the latest virus that's infected our PC. Basically, it redirects all web searches on the internet to other websites (mostly ads). I have McAffee and Malware B installed and have ran them both. UNfortunately, they weren't able to detect any viruses. I am not sure what information you initially need from me so let me give you these details: I have a windows vista basic, processor is Intel Pentium R CPU 2.80 GHz, 32 BIT OS. Other details that you may (or may not) need to know is that problem started yesterday and since then, I've noticed that several times IE has closed on me because of data execution prevention. Moreover, I am able to go to the direct websites if I manually type in the address bar (some websites I have to put https://). Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks in advance.

I forgot to add my logs (this of course is after disabling the cd emulation via defrogger). I have also the other file and the gmer log but I don't know how to attach them to a post  .

I have worked cleaning many viruses in my time and am, recently, running into similar issues. Not all my sites are redirected but it's obvious when some are. I even receive a page telling me 'site is being redirected' briefly before i'm taken to a site not requested to go to. I have cleaned the machine in question with Malwarebytes, which found nothing. Eset's NOD32 found 7 infections in the Java Cache which I cleared out manually. I have manually cleared out all temp files and run 'old timer's tfc cleaner'. We are running xp pro service pack3 ie8 all windows updates are also installed. I anxiously await your thoughts.
