I turned off BlinkXBeat, a SS that popped up every 15 min., but would like to ensure its total removal. It actually cropped up its head right after I got some malicious malware, but right now my computer is showing up as clean using Mal-Ware, Ad-Aware, SpyBot, and 2 suggested Anti-Virus scanners... but BlinkX is still an option in my Screensaver menu...

I believe BlinkXBeat is a Toolbar that comes with a screensaver.

The correct way to remove any program you installed is to use Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel or Programs and Features in Vista/Windows 7 first, then restart the computer and delete the Program folder if it still exists. Note: With some programs its best to uninstall while in "safe mode".

If not listed there, Windows keeps Screensavers with an .scr extenstion in the C:\Windows\System2 folder. Open Windows Explorer, navigate to that folder, locate BlinkXBeat, right-click on it and choose delete.
