I keyed in a search term in Google and I got a page asking me to prove that I'm a human and not a robot. My search term was not about any problematic stuff. Google does not let me use it! Brings the same page with every new search I try. Why would that happen?

It might be something redirecting your searches. Has that ever happened on other occasions?

What page are you being redirected to in Google?
I am thinking that you might be infected with something.
In the beginning there was the command line.

It never happened before.

The page itself is not a viral page as it seems, it is google asking me to copy the chars I see to prove I am not a robot. It might be because a robot is actually using my computer while I'm unaware?

As I write this it turned back to normal [many hours passed since] but I'm still worried about why it happened and if it might happen again.
