How to setup a password with WinRAR v4.00 on an archive (*.zip or *.rar) that is, currently, not protected by a password?

Thanks in advance. :)

48 views, no one's telling.

This is all I can see on Google:

"1. Right click on the file or folder you want to set a password and select add to archive (choosing winrar).

2. when rar opens up go to advanced tab and set a password, etc. "

Don't have the program, so cannot check it out.

I've only ever used the freeware SimplyZip for RAR files, unpacking only.

Still using Winzip 9, for everything else, old habits die hard.

Hope some WinRAR users drop by, to answer your question. :)
