I'm stil running right not the MalwareBytes, as what I have read from previous posts, I just wanna make sure that based on my logs, if my pc is somehow clean after the scan, or did I start my malware/virus detection right, to use malware bytes first before anything else.
I just dont want to end up reformatting my pc right away because there's so many files that I need, im running a homebased business, i rely with my files very much.
Can someone help me with the step x step procedure on how to eliminate this? I am a frontline tech support for internet connection, but not for so deep things or TS like this. I am sure that i can follow whatever steps it may take for this thing to get deleted completely in my system.
More Power to your site.
OS: Windows XP SP3
AV: Kaepersky AV / Kaepersky Internet Security 2010
Tool: Malwarebytes, class-x.vbs
I am not sure also that aside from the Classified.exe that I have in my PC, if I have other unknown behaviors. the only obvious thing that I can see in my system is the Classified.exe folder that's multiplying when I Click on it. I moved all of my installers to the desktop, looks like that the only location that this thing cannot control.
One more thing, I tried class-x.vbs, as suggested to try when i googled this issue, and this tool says that my system is healthy when in fact, Malwarebytes has detected 2778+ objects detected.
Im at work right now and left the malwarebytes running at home, doing its thorough scan, and we'll see what will happen afterwards.
Hopefully it can remove everything thou when im reading some forums, most of the people had this thing tried a lot of things before they arrived to its final resolution.
what else do I have to include here in my Help thread to gain assistance? Hmm....
