When I try to scam my computer with Symantec Antivirus program, it comes up with this message:

Could not start scan. Scan engine returned engine 0x20000058

What's wrong and how can I fix it?

There are two solutions. Here is Symantec Antivirus' solution.

Number two is to uninstall Symantec Antivirus and install one of the freeware antivirus'...

Antivirus (Run only one.)
AVG Free Edition Antivirus (I personally use)
Avast Home Edition Antivirus Freeware
AntiVir Personal Edition Classic Freeware
BitDefender 8 Free Edition
