I made a disk check up, because I kept getting the same Windows update, which failed about 15 times and continued appearing as an important update.

I checked the help window and the advise was to make the checkup because of possible problems with my hard disk. I did it and now I can't make my mouse work. New battery. restarts and nothing. My mouse ia a Logitech wireless. My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 1720 with Vista.

I have had several problems with BSODs and Firefox shutting down with no reason, I loaded a Microsoft IntelliPoint 6.2 not wireless used in my desktop PC.

I don"t know what to do next. my mouse was working properly before the checkup Can you help?

Thank you for the response.

Apparently the "new battery" I used was dead. I tried with the third battery I had, and is now working.

Sorry for the dumb question.
