A Windows 7 Recovery Virus

Same issue on two computers of mine going to end up wiping drive on both if I cant fix it.

What Happened...
Computers both showed up with Windows Recovery Virus, removed using Malwarebytes and Combofix.
I ran spybot and gmer just for kicks and giggles.
I ran unhide.exe to get the icons to reappear and then the start menu program shortcuts went missing and under further review the programs .exe files went missing too.
That's where I am at and out of several hundred computers that I have fixed this one has me stumped...
