I've run into a snag following the instructions posted on this page...

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivirus-vista-2010

When I try to run fixexe.reg (after clicking "yes" to the firt pop up, I am told that the specified file is not a regestry script & that I can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor. I opened up the registry (by doing a search for regedit) & tried to drag the file in. This gives me a new warning "The key will be restored on top of key: Computer. All value entries & subkeys of this key will be deleted. Do you wish to continue?" I'm too scared to click OK. Am I doing this correctly?

I backed up my registry so I was feeling a bit safer to give it a try. Do dice. "Not a valid key". So now what?

BTW... We have Windows Vista.
