I'm beyond frustration, I've ran Ad-aware, SpyBot S &D, Spyware Blaster, SpySweeper, CWS shredder, about buster, and a few others one of which is one the list of rogue spyware---Xoftspy. When first noticed problems last week, found all sorts of stuff...alexa, n-case, lop, dialers, a cws.dll file, search bar, wild tangent, transponder, etc. I did have 3 separate user accounts set up and kept going in circles & kept finding more. Finally deleted my kids user accounts and kept scanning & now all the programs come back clean except spy sweeper shows spyware found 1 and traces 158--description is CWS_NS3. Keep deleting and it's still there, read somewhere that's a glitch in spy sweeper & thatís a false positive??? Now I get about 10-15 minutes before the browser freezes. Is there any hope? Oh yeah, few weeks ago, discovered a program named dc++ that my daughter had downloaded & was sharing the entire hard drive with the world. It's allegedly a type of P2P program. Thanks

This is what i want you to do. Click on start, then run, and type msconfig and press the ok button.

Then click the startup tab, and uncheck the line that loads teatimer.exe

Then reboot and fix those lines and post a ne wlog

Fix this last line:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Twain image] "C:\WINDOWS\System32\mmp32.exe" /startup

Reboot and post a new log and tell me if the problems are gone.
