I am looking into getting this today
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...269&CatId=2306

I have an eMachine EL1352-41W stock--- 220W PS
Don't really do too much w/ PC except older games and inkscape

Will I need a new power supply?

Thank you

Link doesn't work and that 220w is extremely low even for a low end card.

That low end graphics card should be fine for older games and inkscape but you will need a new power supply. Based from the pictures i got i believe the power supply is a mini ITX.

According to the FAQ for the 8400GS, it says a maximum power draw of 71 watts. You could try but i would purchase a higher wattage power supply.

Hopefully that will perfectly fit in the case unless eMachine made it their own size.

3.2" x 1.7" x 6" for new one

3.2" X 1.7" X 8" give or take for one in PC now.

I am hoping it works out.
Thanx

I also read this

"Sparkle makes the card so it is meant to be "VGA up top" but on the EL1352 it requires "VGA on bottom" but the cable is not long enough for it. So i do suggest ordering a DVI adapter along with your card or you wont be able to put your case cover back on lol"

Please which adapter would that be off of newegg so I can order

I'm not exactly sure what that means but a DVI adapter would be this.

I wasn't sure either as there are many. I just went ahead and picked up that one.
