So over the weekend my laptop gave me the blue screen of death so I went online on my desktop, found your website and learned how to fix it in safe mode. Cleaned it out and restored it to March. Then I started reading all about the new virus', malware, etc. and panicking because my personal network was so unprotected and my id literally just got stolen and it's this HUGE ordeal. So anyways I think I got a little overzealous downloading protection stuff to my desktop because as I look at it now it is a black screen with my OS info in a single line on the top, it won't turn off and won't do anything whatsoever. I actually started noticing problems this weekend when I downloaded the MS7 update. Earlier tonight I had the desktop in safe mode and scanned it with Malwerbytes and it didn't come back with anything, I have Windows Essential Security installed but I can't get it to start it was disabled and I couldn't relaunch it. I did verify that my firewall was on though. I downloaded the Complete System Cleaner freeware and that did an antivirus scan and nothing came up either, I was thinking that maybe I had gotten rid of whatever it was so I shut down the system and restarted it and ran the HP diagnostics on it and it passed everything. I ran the Windows mem test on it next and it passed that- SO I tried to start it in regular mode... all the drivers ran down the screen (some were capitalized, ex Drivers\, but some were showing like drivers\.... (I can't remember the path after that sorry)I did notice that a lot of my programs had the little windows shield next to them, and it was always yellow and blue, and it was by all the security programs.... My computer is the HP touchsmart, and has never had any problems before this. I did write down some of the things that caught my eye:

Rundll32 was there, some of the lower case paths that I got were:
c:\windows\drivers\usbstor.sys, c:\windows\drivers\usbohci.sys, c:\windows\\systemroot\system32\drivers\usbstor.sys
One of the running services was virtualapp/didlogical and the user name was 02kutaxppf and was enabled and couldn't not be disabled.

Please help! I am an online design student and NEED that computer for school, and I really hope it's not fried cuz it's not even paid off yet...

I have done the defrag and disk cleanup also and made no difference

Thanks in advance! You guys are awesome!
