Ive been trying to install a Virtual Machine (VM Ware) onto my laptop which has the Windows Vista OS (32bit) however im unsuccessful as it keeps telling me that I already have a VM installed and that I should go via control panel to uninstall it first before installing the newer Virtual Machiene.

The problem is that I cannot see any VM programms in the Install/Uninstall list.

Can anyone PLEASE help and tell me were else I should be looking as it is driving me mad.

Im sorry if this seems like a very simple problem but as you may have gathered Im rather inexperianced when it comes to IT :hysterical:

Many thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give

Maybe this method will work for you. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/247515

If that doesn't work there are other tools like jvpowertools that can uninstall programs not listed in the programs and features area.
