Are you referring to the HDMI port on the outside of video card or the S/PDIF internal connector that connects the video card to the sound card?

the S/PDIF internal connector that connects the video card to the sound card. i posted another topic on this forum about the same thing, that was much more specific. however, no one responded. thats why i was not as specific this time! the video card that i have does have hdmi built in but the audio is still seperate. so,yes i need a sound card that will allow me to use this type of connector. so that i can connect the video cards audio connector to it.
