I am running Vista 32 bit and have the windows vista recovery virus. I've downloaded rkill and malwarebytes. I currently have malwarebytes, however, after running rkill, I am unable to get malwarebytes to launch. I get the error message: Run-time error '53': File not found: mbamnet. When trying to install the downloaded version, I get an error: Access is denied. Any ideas on how to get malwarebytes uninstalled then reinstalled? Thanks.

Samething here but with a Win7 Home Premium. Had recently removed a trojan virus using AVG paid full version. Afterwards wanted to scan my pc to see if anything else was infected but can't install malwarebytes because of the same error message. Run-time error '53': File not found: mbamnet, and too at the end of the extracting point of the software installation it states a big red X and the words Access Denied.
