I have receieved notification from Hostgator that thousands of junk emails are being sent from my hosting account.
I ran malwarebytes, AVG anti virus, superantispyware. Changed my passpord for cpanel and webmail using password generator from hostgator.
Today I get another warning that I am spamming. I do not even have a list and don't know how to send more than one email at a time.
All of my sites contain legit ads from legit companies with whom I have affiliate dealings. As you know I could lose the contract with any of them down to this rubbish being sent.

I thought that I handled security safetly enough this is the first time in years that such a thing has happened
I never open spam I delete anything except from known and trusted contacts
I am at a complete loss so would really appreciate and advice from you guys/gals

many thanks in advance
