I'm a retired IT type (3rd level support for analysis software, such as Excel, SAS and JMP.

I spend much too much time administering our home network (Linksys E3000 router, a Linksys NSLU2 server and 6 or 7 PCs, depending upon who's home from college at the time.)

It's not unusual for me to get a frantic call from my younger son with a problem on his school computer. My husband also runs into problems when he misinterprets PC dialog boxes. The older boy's a senior in CS and usually solves his own problems<G>.

I definitely answer to "Mom"...
