I am curious as to what operating systems the many members at Bleeping computer use.

Please do not be shy and get your vote in.

I only asking for your vote, and am not requesting replies.
Although feel free to do so, if you like.

So what do you say we try and make this a huge success.

Let's try and make it the biggest poll that Bleeping Computer has ever had!

With all of your help that could be very possible.

We have 45420 registered members, so even if a small minority of you vote.
We could manage to accomplish a nice little cross section of data.
That may hold some water somewhere.

Goal is set at 100 votes at least.

My reason behind this is that I have been searching,
and searching for some current stats regarding the operating
systems that are the most widely used. And have come up empty handed.

The poll here will consist of extremely up to the minute results.
Now thats what I'm talking about. :inlove:

Thanks in advance to all who participate!

:flowers:

To all Bleeping Computer Guests looking in,
If you would like to vote in this exciting poll. lol
You must first register:

Now get out and rock this vote! :trumpet:

I have all of them except Apple and 95. Still trying to get to grips with Knopix before I take the plunge and give a HD over to Linux. I mostly use winME cause it nearly had me beat.

Hey, your enthusiasm has it 10% with my vote, Scarlett. :flowers:

AL, I'm with you re: Knoppix. I have it on CD to run, and someday
(in the not too distant future) I want to become "conversant" in it's use.
All sorts of powerful applications run in it, and what would I do without all my anti-spyware/anti-virus updating/scanning/repairing/using my start-to-stop routines? :trumpet:

Just makes sense in the same way using an alternate browser does, and a lot cheaper
than budgeting for Vista. Win98 support is slated for cutoff on June of this year.
No more support for winXPhome is scheduled for 6 months later. Nice ...

When support ends, it isn't long after that the knowledge bases are no longer visable at MS, too.
Not that I'm terrribly fond of seeking answers there ....

Heck, I still have winNT 4.0 for Workstation SP 4 ...

Now if just more would cast their votes....:trumpet:

Try Puppy. You can run it straight from the CD without installing a thing.

 Thanks for the support boopme and everyone. :inlove:

10,000 votes well, that may be to much to ask for. But that would be cool huh?

As I have said I'd like at least 100 votes.
But I would not mind one little bit if there were much more. :flowers:

Next.... :trumpet:
