Hopefully someone can help!
When I use google I am being redirected to other sites. I have run AVG 2011 and Malwarebytes and neither detect anything. I was advised on another forum to use Spybot which listed a number of problems most of which it got rid of for me but it couldn't write to the hosts file where there are a number of redirects embedded. I have tried to delete these redirects manually and save the hosts file but it wouldn't save. I have switched the hosts protection off in Spybot and run through the removal process but Spybot returns that it also can't write to the hosts file. The hosts protection in Spybot is definitely off. Can anyone help.
