I had the Windows Recovery virus on my PC running Windows XP. I ran Rkill, than I downloaded and ran StopZilla, and than used Unhide. After all of that I ran MalWareBytes. I still had internet redirects and random audio commercials, so I ran TDSSKiller. After all of that most of the problems are gone, but I still have a few other problems. When I try to shutdown, the screen just gets darker and nothing ever happens. When I look in my system tools the file shows to be empty, so I cannot access disc cleanup or defragment option. Many other folders show as empty, but as far as I can tell all of my documents are still there. When I do get the system to restart, it is now asking me to log in to windows XP, and I never had to do this before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
