Hi Guys,

thanks for taking the time to read this.

Okay so here's what's happened:

2 days ago I recieved an email from a friend's hotmail address. With her being a friend I naturally opened it and that's where the fun started! I clicked on a link which looked innocent enough until it redirected me to a page promoting vi*gra. I also noticed that in the "CC" field, the same email had been sent to all her facebook friends. It seems as if the virus has harvested all the email addresses on her friends list.

I have since tried the following:
Avg 2011 free version
MBAM
Superantispyware
Ccleaner
Avast! - removed peternova.class trojan and java open connection trojan.

However it still seems to be sending out emails without my knowledge, the only tell tale sign is that I'm getting loads of mail delivery failure notifications coming back to my email account.

There are no obvious error messages coming up, so it's a bit difficult for me to google a specific remedy when I don't know the name of the virus causing the problem!

Anyway if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it, if not please take heed of my experience and watch out for it!
