Hi,

Hoping to get some help with my computer problems and save my son hours on the phone trying to help me fix things. I have a desktop and a laptop. The desktop has XP Office and the Lap XP Home. They are connected through a router and I have wireless internet connections even though I plug in my wire connection most of the time because it is handy and seems to work faster than wireless.

I am by no means an expert but not a complete cyber illiterate either. I started on an Apple IIE back in 1984. I worked for the USDA for almost 30 years.

Hope to gain some computer knowledge and maybe help with some of the easier things if I can.

Thankyou
Rangeman

Welcome to BC!
Don't hesitate to post about a problem here at BC instead of calling your son.

John
