Computer Spyware

Hi..I am new to the forum..I have been being held hostage by this dumb spyaxe which downloaded itself on to my computer..I have no idea where it even came from..but..my problem is...I have read some of the ways to get rid of it..but do not feel confident enough to do it myself...can someone recommend a program that would take care of this for me and also protect me from any future takeovers?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you post a HiJackThis! log so our expert team of volunteers can walk you through the process. Along the way, you will be installing several excellent anti-spyware applications, running these, and cleaning up your computer. Installing these applications, keeping them updated, and running them on a regular basis will keep your computer clean.
