I am about 99% certain that "cap70sott.exe" is the culprit that reincarnates Antimalware Doctor after running rkill and Malwarebytes and rebooting - but it would be best for one of the real experts here to confirm that (not me).

I got hit with this a couple of days ago. Looking at various sites hosting tornado videos - and while using Firefox.....

While (hopefully successfully) cleaning Antimalware Doctor the other day I came across 2 other rouge executables that dropped on my harddrive with nearly identical timestamps as "cap70sott.exe".

edn.exe
egodua.exe

They were running as processes along with cap70sott.exe.

I have found a little info on edn.exe, but I find nothing anywhere about egodua.exe.

Not sure if this was a separate successful malware attack, or if it is related to or part of Antimalware Doctor.

Hopefully one of the experts here knows.

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
