Driver for 1.8" ZIF hdd needed for Vista install...?

I am trying to reinstall Vista on my Sony UX-380N UMPC after a recent hard drive failure (new zif 1.8" hdd was installed).

I have an external drive hooked up via usb. The computer loads Vista, I select the language, choose install, and it asks me where I want to install Vista.

There are no options in the list. I brought the hdd new so I can only assume it works. Do I have to install some sort of driver? The hdd model is:


Any help is very appreciated.
