While working on my computer, a window popped up which appeared to be from Windows saying that my computer was infected with multiple viruses. I did not click on any part of this pop up window. I exited out of all of my open programs and shut off my computer. I turned it back on after disconnecting it from the internet connection (I don't know why I did this; however, it seemed like a safer way to proceed). When the computer was booted up, I ran my Symantec Endpoint Protection software and it located multiple risks. The risks were detailed as follows:

Filename / Risk / Action
1. Unavaiable /Tracking Cookies /Deleted
2. lorry/Cloners.class /Trojan Horse /Quarantined
3. lorry/debuggr.class /Trojan Maljava /cleaned by deletion
4. lorry/Patchers.class /Trojan Horse /Quarantined
5. a536c868c18984c5fd8f44667a230ce9.jar-681de8cb-375a14df.zip /Multiple risks /Quarantined

At this time, my computer appears to be operating fine. I am concerned that something may be lurking in the background.

Any guidance on how to confirm my computer is not infected would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hello,

Please follow the instructions in ==>This Guide<==. If you cannot complete a step, skip it and continue.

Once the proper logs are created, then make a NEW TOPIC and post it ==>HERE<== Please include a description of your computer issues and what you have done to resolve them.

If you can produce at least some of the logs, then please create the new topic and explain what happens when you try to create the log(s) that you couldn't get. If you cannot produce any of the logs, then still post the topic and explain that you followed the Prep. Guide, were unable to create the logs, and describe what happens when you try to create the logs.
