Hi,

I recently was infected by a trojan which I cleared with Malwarebytes. However now when I use google & click on a link (e.g. wikipedia) it redirects to me to random pages.

I've tried scanning with Malwarebytes again but it does not find it.

Could you help please??

Thanks!

Try running rkill first. You can get it from this website. Allow it to run and see if it shuts down anything. If it does, run Malwarebytes again to see if it grabs it. (make sure Malwarebytes is up to date...)

Also, you can try clearing your internet history...

Does this only happen in one browser (e.g. Firefox) or in every browser?

Thanks for all your help, I will try rkill when I get home tonight.

I cleared my internet history (including cookies etc) but this did not work.

I use IE, not firefox.
